Social Media & Engagement Specialist

Crypto Kids Camp is looking for a successful and enthusiastic Event Planner to join the Crypto Kids Camp team (CKC). As our Event Planner you will produce events from conception through to completion in multiple cities. Event Coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations. Preferred applicants are passionate, creative, and detail oriented, and dedicated to providing superb client service at every turn. This role demands an expert in all aspects of event, meeting, and conference planning, including cost containment, venue scouting, equipment logistics, room setup, and a wealth of best practices. You will also have excellent leadership skills and the ability to delegate responsibilities to meet quality expectations. You will be working closely with the director of CKC as well as members of our parent company crypto blockchain plug (CBP).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
• Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
• Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
• Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
• Establish standard procedures and train staff to execute them
• Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
• Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes

Qualifications and education requirements

• Proven experience as an Events Planner or Organizer
• Impressive portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events)
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• MS Office proficiency

Preferred Skill

• BS in Event Management or related field
• Experience in marketing and/or public relations
• Proficient with the Event Management System and Cvent registration tool used to manage registration and event logistics
• Flexibility to travel both domestic, as needed
• Crypto, blockchain, and emerging technology knowledge or the willingness to learn
